Being short on wood or stone mid-game used to stall me every time, but now I can just toss whatever resource I have spare toward the build. It's a small card, but it quietly fixes one of the most frustrating bottlenecks in Engines of War.
This card saved our Engines of War game night more than once. Being able to throw any resource at a build when you're totally tapped out is such a relief, especially late in the game. It's a tiny promo but it genuinely changes how you plan your turns.
Using any resource toward a build is such a simple fix, but it saves me almost every game when my wood and brick run dry. Wish it came in the base box instead of as a promo.
