Ham Helsing

Playing as a reluctant monster-hunting pig had my whole table laughing by round two. The four characters play differently enough that we each found our own favorite, and the graphic novel art on the cards is gorgeous.

The co-op mechanic means nobody sits out, which is huge for our group since my wife hates competitive games. We lost our first run at the finale by one card and immediately reset the board to try again.

Played the first scenario with three friends and the asymmetric hero abilities kept everyone busy — Ronin and Lobos genuinely feel different to control. The co-op tension of deciding who hunts and who defends had us arguing in the best way.
